A Cop, an Indian, a Biker, a Builder, a Soldier and a Cowboy, I know I know it was like going into a time warp. However the Village People captivated the audience and kept them on there feet dancing from the time they went on stage until they finished. It was at held at Melbourne Zoo Twilight Sessions. Gates opened at 5.30pm with show to start at 7.30pm. Unfortunately due to the rain they were running late as they had to dry the stage for safety reasons. It was a great atmosphere with a mutigenerational audience. I myself took my mum and 2 young children, it was a safe and fun environment that many of us were able to take children to. The concert was a high energy disco, that I would recommend to anyone. Melbourne Zoo Twilights is a fabulous way of seeing musical acts without being at one of the big stage venues. I would definitely see the Village People and go to Melbourne Zoo Twilights again.
