As its located at a Christmas Tree farm you end up driving through rows of Christmas trees to get to the car park. It is a little surreal when you get there and there is a huge dinosaur waiting for you. A wonderful place to visit and take the kids, yes a little bit on the pricey side for what there is to do there as it’s not very big but what you get out of it and take away with you is so worth it. It was $50 for a family of 4 and was located at The Christmas Tree Farm on Frankston Flinders Rd, Sommerville. Great adventure for all ages while learning something to. You have a path leading you down and around to all the different life-size dinosaurs. As you approach them they do have some movement and make sounds giving you an over all experience. There is also information about each dinosaur next to the dinosaur in question.
Once you have come to the end of the path there is play equipment for the kiddies to burn extra off energy. There is also picnic tables and a bbq if you are wanting to go for lunch. They have a marquee that is split in half where one side has table and you can have a party there and the other has a huge sand pit. For an extra $8 you are able to dig for a fossil to take home with you. There is a little gift shop at the front where you pay to get in and can buy souvenir from. There is also some geese and ducks located at the front when you arrive and leave that you are able to purchase bread for feeding them.
